Comments: English political poster published by National Union of Conservative and Constitutional Association, London. The poster refers to a an exchange between David Lloyd-George and Austin Chamberlain that took place in Parliament on 22nd. January 1910. Mr. Lloyd-George, in arguing against protectionism, stated that a Unionist victory would reduce the county to living on "black bread and horseflesh", like the peasants of Germany and Russia.
