Comments: Rare Marines recruiting poster issued just before the U.S. entry into WWI, the painting on which it is based is dated 1913, but it was probably printed 1917. Desirable small format for display, and the poster has "371 Market St. San Francisco" recruiting office imprint at bottom. The California connection adds to the appeal of this excellent poster.
