Comments: Irish WWI recruiting posters are rare, and this is one of the very best. I can find no records of it offered for sale...I have never seen a "live" specimen before. Stirring appeal by Irish womanhood (with much guilt thrown in) for Irishmen to join the war. He doesn't look too "energized" for the fight yet, but I am sure he rose to the occasion!
