Comments: Extremely uncommon version of Mother Goose, with beautiful and imaginative color illustrations by Fanny Cory. Contains 12 color plates plus color frontispiece, and numerous black and white illustrations in the text. The cover is particularly lovely and the pasted on cover illustration is bright as when first published. Given the rarity, it would be hard to improve the condition.

Condition: Very good, cloth binding with title stamped on spine, cover illustration very bright, slight bumping to back corner tips, contents are very good, except one plate has a 1" border tear, a couple plates show a few wrinkles, and some plates are detached from the binding (typically seen on this volume).
