Comments: Bare-knuckles boxing era print, this is a bookplate from the rare volume "Gladiators of the Prize Ring" celebrating famed boxers. This is a photograph printed by the halftone process, and has descriptions of these positions and tactics on the back. This book is very rare, and I was lucky to find an incomplete example from which a few of the prints were in decent condition, this is one of them! It is hard to find images from this era of boxing history.
