Comments: First edition of the famed book with "personified" flowers (flower people). By J.J.Grandville. Fine example with period half leather binding and gold stamped covers, all in fine condition, unrestored. 50 engravings with original hand coloring, plus 2 frontispieces and black and white illustrations within. Each print has tissue guard and paper and color very fresh, with almost no foxing or flaws to plates (though minimal foxing in some of the text pages, not obtrusive.
